Building vibrant intergenerational communities
peopleCare is working hard to quickly build new long-term care homes, and redevelop our older homes, in communities around Ontario. Our developments will make it possible for more seniors to receive the care they need, in modern and beautiful homes, surrounded by family, friends and neighbours.
Our goal is to collaboratively create integrated campuses that enable seniors to live and age well, and more independently – receiving a range of care, services and housing options, along with community-based health and social supports, all in one place. This sustainable and innovative solution results in a vibrant, age-friendly environment that promotes intergenerational relationships and inclusion, and healthy aging, which is incredibly valuable to today’s seniors and their families as their needs change over time.

Honoured to host five generations of the Kewageshig family as they held a Pow Wow for their loved one who resides at @peopleCare_ca Meaford #LTC. Talented young Saugeen First Nation dancers & drummer Jack Nadjiwan from Cape Croker First Nation made it a special day for all.

Congratulations to @Fairview_Senior in Cambridge, @peopleCare_CA A.R. Goudie in Kitchener, and The Elliot Long Term Care in Guelph on this milestone towards expanding your long-term care homes.
Construction is underway at peopleCare A. R. Goudie Kitchener.
The home is building a new 128-bed building adjacent to the current 80-bed home. The expansion is expected to open in fall 2025.
