Read New 128-bed long-term care home to open in Delhi in spring 2025 (Simcoe Reformer)
Delhi Long-Term Care (LTC) has been an important part of the local community in Norfolk County, Ontario since opening its doors in the early 1970s, with the unwavering support and engagement of families, volunteers, students and local businesses. We peopleCare managed the home for well over a decade, always with the intention of redeveloping. Read peopleCare officially welcomes Delhi LTC to the family
With approvals and an award of 68 additional LTC bed licenses from the Ministry of Long-Term Care, peopleCare is excited to build a new 128-bed LTC home on land directly behind the existing building. The redeveloped Delhi LTC Home will open in spring 2025.
Constructing a new and larger home, to better serve the community, is our priority. Over time, we envision developing other types of seniors housing, care and services on the site, in collaboration with our valued community partners. All to enable more seniors and their families to have their needs met through quality care and life-enriching experiences right here in the Delhi community they know and love.
Excitement is building as our development and operations leads teamed up for an inside look at the incredible progress on the new 128-bed @peopleCare_ca Delhi LTC home, opening this spring!
