An accomplished leader, Lois has been growing and transforming senior living and health care organizations for more than 30 years. Appointed President and CEO in 2013, she led Sienna through significant growth and transformation, successfully rebranding and repositioning the company as one of Canada’s leading high quality seniors’ living providers.

We are delighted to share that Miriam Freymond Turnbull, Vice President and General Manager of ProResp Inc., will hike with us July 18-21.
A passionate and engaging leader, Miriam has been with ProResp for over 28 years. She began her career as a registered respiratory therapist working in acute care where she gained a breadth of clinical experience, which is foundational to her leadership approach. With a move into community care, she started her leadership career path and now has an extensive and successful background in local, regional, and senior executive roles.

For the first time ever, peopleCare warmly welcomes Donna Duncan, CEO of the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA) to the Trek, walking July 20.
Donna is an experienced senior leader, with an extensive background in health and academics. Prior to joining OLTCA, she was President and CEO of the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, and before that, an executive at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

From July 18-21st, we will host our annual Women Walking to Grow “WW2G” Trek along the Bruce Trail. Participants will spend four days walking 100 km of the trail and networking with other long-term care sector leaders. There is also an option for guests to join the group for one day on July 20th – walking either 10 km or 20 km – followed by a celebration BBQ.
