Full steam ahead for Tavistock LTC redevelopment

A progress update on the rebuild of peopleCare Tavistock to a brand-new 128-bed long-term care (LTC) Home is a feature story in this week’s Wilmot-Tavistock Gazette.

Working closely behind-the-scenes with the East Zorra-Tavistock township and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, planning is well underway and peopleCare anticipates having shovels in the ground later this year.

With this project moving full steam ahead, peopleCare has plans for additional redevelopments as part of our focus on bringing more care to these communities. Our newest redevelopment, peopleCare Meaford LTC, opened in December 2022 with an additional 51 beds enabling the team to provide care and services to more local seniors.
