Boldly reimagining senior living as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies
For the twelfth straight year, peopleCare has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, once again earning the prestigious Platinum designation. This recognition reflects the strength of our Limitless strategy and our inspired team members who are pushing boundaries, driving innovation and igniting positive change.
“Limitless is positioning peopleCare to execute on our vision to change the world of senior living,” says Chairman and CEO Brent Gingerich. “And our talented leaders across peopleCare are enabling us to lean into our strengths as a positive disruptor and guide the organization through significant transformation.”
peopleCare is on a momentous growth trajectory. In the next several years, our operations will effectively triple in size (~273% increase) as we build and open new long-term care (LTC) homes in key Ontario communities. We also have plans to continue investing in additional seniors care and housing based on local needs to help meet the demands of Ontario’s growing, aging population.
One benefit of this significant growth is the opportunity to extend peopleCare’s positive impact as we increase urgently needed seniors housing and care capacity and create good jobs with every development. As we expand, Limitless focuses our energies on what matters most: transforming experiences, designing vibrant communities, innovating and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
“Imagine communities alive with purpose and energy, where people feel valued, connected and inspired,” says peopleCare President Megan Allen-Lamb. “That’s the future we’re building today, a future without limits, where everyone is empowered to contribute, learn, grow and live with purpose and vitality, every single day.”
Fueled by purpose and guided by values, Limitless is guiding us to stronger operational outcomes, new models of care and innovative uses of AI to drive efficiency and scale impact, demonstrating the potential we can unlock when we lead together with purpose and heart.

peopleCare is known for holding ourselves to the highest standards of quality, operational excellence and innovation. In November 2023, we achieved Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, exceeding all requirements and retaining our status for the next four years.
As one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for a dozen years in a row, and one of the only senior living organizations to earn the 2025 Best Managed Company Platinum designation, peopleCare is proud to be recognized for operating at the highest levels of excellence. We look forward to continuing to raise the bar, challenge the status quo and create inspired communities where bold ideas thrive.
