Kitchener LTC Redevelopment
369 Frederick Street Kitchener, ON
Now open! With the completion of a new 128-bed addition, peopleCare is proud to welcome residents, families and team members to the new and larger AR Goudie Long-Term Care home in Kitchener. The completion of the addition increases the home’s capacity to 208 residents, helping more local seniors receive care close to home.
The redevelopment is part of peopleCare’s long-term vision to create a vibrant campus that supports healthy aging through a range of housing options, services and community partnerships designed to meet seniors’ changing needs.
peopleCare AR Goudie, and the beautiful Frederick Street property on which it stands, are part of a long and rich history of supporting the Kitchener community. The current building, completed in 1993, is recognized for its cultural and architectural significance. AR Goudie became part of the peopleCare family in 2013.
This project began with the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s approval of much-needed new long-term care beds for this community. Read peopleCare awarded new LTC beds in Kitchener
