AR Goudie: A Vibrant Future in Senior Living
Exciting changes are underway at peopleCare AR Goudie in Kitchener. The Ministry of Long-Term Care has awarded us 80 new long-term care beds, enabling the redevelopment and expansion of the Home. Construction is now in progress on a 128-bed addition, scheduled to open in 2025. Once completed, the redeveloped AR Goudie will offer 208 long-term care beds, significantly enhancing our capacity to meet the needs of seniors in the community.
Situated on the historic Frederick Street property, AR Goudie has a long and proud tradition of helping those in need. Built in 1993 and recognized for its architectural and cultural significance, the Home became part of the peopleCare family in 2013 and continues to serve as a vital part of our organization’s mission to deliver exceptional care.
