Golden Years Nursing Home is an 88 bed Long Term Care Home in Cambridge, Ontario. Situated in the stately Pattenson Mansion built in the early 1900ís, Beryl and Ken Langford purchased the home in the mid 60ís to develop the Golden Years Nursing Home that exists today.
The Home currently offers private and basic accommodations with each room tastefully decorated and furnished. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with personal items and favourite pieces of furniture when they can be safely accommodated.
Golden Years offers 5 small home areas, including one secure home area specifically designed for residents with varying degrees of dementia. The Home offers 3 spacious lounges for social interactions with family and friends. The enclosed Courtyard offers residents a safe outdoor area for relaxation. The Home offers river views and is surrounded by lovely gardens and ample strolling park-like space. Daily activities provide enhanced programming for all residents in both small and large group settings. Of course, the safety and security of each resident is our primary concern, so our 24 hour nursing care provides all our residents with the contentment of home and the added assurance of trained nursing as required.
